Men are facing challenges and assaults to that essential dynamic reality at the foundation of what it is for them to be a man. The patriarchy has afforded men certain opportunities, but has also inhibited and wounded them. Patriarchy is a strategic intelligence that is designed to obscure male vulnerability. It prevents men from exploring this fully in themselves. There are many ways, i think, that men are wounded by our culture.
