Is This Mass a Property of Matter?

Regular particles have this property that we call mass. Mass is kind of like the measure of how much it feels gravity and inertia. In our theory these are all point particles they have no volume. So if you want to zoom out you can just think I'm just going to put a label on these particles. If you want to Zoom in you could think about well this particle is sort of like a virtual cloud of Higgs bosons around it that are changing it.
