The False Claims Act Impacts Government Contractors and Sub Contractors
The false claims act extends not only to those companies that are doing business directly with the united states government. It can also impact those sub contractors or sub recipients that are also working under a federal contract or grant. And so many companies who don't think of themselves in the traditional sense as a n government contract grant recipient may actually be a sub recipient or sub contractor that would still be subject to the false claims act.
