The X-Man's Letter to New Orleans

A lot of people believe that this letter is a hook. After all the X-Man was a famous and feared serial killer at this point. It's not unusual to see people write hooks letters just to get a rise out of the public in cases like this. The next Tuesday came around and pretty much every single home that owned a record player was playing jazz music. On that night March 19 of 1919 there was no axe man attack.
