What's Cultures of Honor?

Cultures of honor arise in places where there's very little top down government or state level control. People often form quite tight clans, usually kin based and sometimes extending beyond the family. If anyone clan has their honor violated, they might retaliate with extreme violence. In a culture of honor, if you don't, you're going to either get sanctioned by your own clan, or you're just going to have all your goods stolen and so tat.
