Is There a Discipline for Spinoza?
The ethics of spinoza aims to inculcate a discipline in his readers. But there's also this third kind of knowing, which seems to be able to arise and spontaneously so on. Spinoza says that intuitive knowledge is like the work of reason but it just comes all at once.
