The Probability of Getting Audited
It really comes down to whether you've got the sufficient link. The ATO is pretty transparent each year about the areas of the tax return that they are going to look at. It's not like they're targeting any specific person. They've got sophisticated systems which is going to pick out at random. Not a reason to ever be fearful of watching your tax return if you keep your records and certainly if you've got a tax agent or accountant to help you know what to keep records on.
