How Do We Treat Nature?

The island of doctor moreau was originally an h g. Well's novel from 18 96, and it's been told and retold for over a century now in many different media. In the original story, it's about an english doctor who's on a south pacific island, and he is uplifting animals through this bizarre kind of chemical process. And so each of these ras, i think, i comes back to this question of, again, how do we treat nature? How do we treat each other? Am, and basically asking, why do we keep trying to invent slaves?
