The Name Alex
Secretly Incredibly Fascinating
The Origins of Alexander the Great
Alexander was the king of Macedonia from 336 BC to 323 BC in those 13 years he conquered Greek city states and then a huge Persian Empire. There were two previous Alexander's as kings there were other people named that before him King Alexander the first ruled about 150 years before Alexander the Great. So this name was really really out there before he came along. I do like that people just started calling themselves Alexander like yeah I'm a bit of an Alexander myself bit of a defender man God if you know what I mean.
