So we've talked about how a parent may want for her child something very different from what the child wants for herself. You might also want to educate socially in order to have an equal society or a just society. And actually, values is one thing we haven't talked about. But now, yes, the language that justifies education,. and the primary social aim of education gets talked about at a political level, is an economic justification.
