Hiring managers are looking for this generic person who studied communication, then it's a very broad thing. So what have you done outside of the classroom that can help you with getting a job? Mm hmm. The problem is that a lot of times they still want to look at institutional experiences. Did you have an internship with a big well known company where you in clubs? I like to see the ones that put a lot of focus and emphasis on personal projects. Oh, you built your own web app. That's awesome. You know, you built something on your own, you're going to be listening on your own."
