The Brown Fat Cell Is Very Different From White Fat

The brown fat cell has one little nuclei. Every cell have that, but it has a lot of mitochondria in the cells. It can be activated upon some kind of stimulus. And for brown fat, the most potent one is cold and apparently actually also heat. The outcome of activating the brown fat is heat. So when we do that, it will need fuel to keep it activated. And that is taking off sugar and fat from the bloodstream as fuel to generate this heat. That is why it can actually be seen as a preventive organ in our body for obesity and type 2 diabetes.
