It gives you not just a picture into what supernovas are doing and how often they happen, but also what people are doing,. What they're thinking, their relationship with the night sky itself. I can't imagine what I would be thinking like before, I mean, if I saw a supernova today, let's be honest, I would also be surprised and scared.
