The US Foreign Policy Establishment Treats Indonesia as a Target
In the 60s, two things happen which change Washington's posture again. The US foreign policy establishment once again treats Indonesia as a target. MI6 and CIA knew that if a clash happened between the army and the Communist Party, the Communist Party would have no chance. On September 30th, 1965, this clash erupts. Six of these generals are killed. And so immediately, General Suharto, who is a right-wing general in the Indonesian military, shuts down all media that he does not control. He spreads an intentional lie to say it was actually the Indonesian Communist Party that was behind this uprising. This becomes the narrative that is spread throughout the country. It's entirely false
