i jen po of the national domestic workers alliance talks to christa tippet. i think something that you've observed that was really useful for me in thinking about is that, um, it's a labor force and a field of labor that is hidden behind the closed door of private homes. You can go into any neighborhood and not know homes are work places. But even deeper than that, as you said, we talk about this not as labor, but as help. And so many americans who are actually acting as employers in their homes don't even think of it that way.
