Wells Fargo's Scandal
Wells Fargo was the definition of a shitty job for its employees. They wanted to meet unrealistic sales goals to boost their numbers and make it seem like they were the best bank in the world with more customers than physically possible. One banker had about 11,000 prospective customers in her area while she was instructed to somehow meet a quota of over 12,000 new accounts. Another employee said he had less stress in the 1991 Gulf War than working for Wells Fargo. And so the Wells Fargo account scandal was born.
