PCH: A Scam?
Publishers clearing house began in 1967 and offered sweepstakes prizes, telling contestants to fill out a contact card. Although there is no purchase necessary to win PCH's prizes, you're going to have a lot of random junk shoved down your throat just to enter. They claim that they earn it from varied merchandise, magazine offers, and advertising on their online properties.
