Lauren Summers: Americans should feel safe that the money they have deposited in banks is going to be there for them. She says events like this are likely to mean that the banking system is a bit less forthcoming with new loans, and that's a kind of monetary tightening. But she says it's very important that the Fed continue to do what's necessary to contain inflation.
