Miyawaki forest is hugely successful in the literal sense as in the plant survive versus, you know, many reforestation projects. They also grow incredibly quickly and with incredible diversity. In 1999, nearly 30 years into doing these projects, Miyawaki wrote a research paper on his findings. He summarizes the basic premise of his methods as well as the results.
