The Importance of Self-Regulate

We all have breaking points, and sometimes our threshold for keeping our shit together can be compromised by stress. It's really hard to self-regulate when you feel powerless, when you cannot control something. When we don't know what we feel, often our brain will place that pain, put a different label on it. We tend to experience similar emotions at the same time as all the other times we've experienced that emotion.
