The Graham Bond Quartet

Baker fired McLaughlin from the group after being irritated by McLaughlin complaining about something. The trio soon became a quartet again, as Dick Hexdal-Smith joined on saxophone to replace McLaughlin's guitar. But they were no longer called the Graham Bond quartet - partly because Hexdal Smith's joining allowed Bond to concentrate just on his keyboard playing but one suspects partly to protect against future lineup changes.
