The Impact of the Bombing of Cambodia on Cambodians
CNN's John Sutter interviewed Cambodians in 2010 about their views of the United States. He says they didn't have a great animosity towards America, but did not ask for compensation or restitution. They asked that the U.S. invest in Cambodia and improve infrastructure such as better electricity to help people live more comfortably. "There's been no real effort to provide any type of compensation," he says.
