Case 239: Peggy Carr
Casefile True Crime
Peggy's Poisoner, George Treepal
George Treepal was arrested in 1975 for running an illegal methamphetamine lab. He used a chemical known as P2P to make the drug, which could be bought legally but agents kept records of people who purchased it. To get around this problem, George sometimes brewed his own P2P. Home made P2P was sometimes made using the heavy metal thalium. In prison he became frustrated by fellow inmates and complained about how loudly they played their radios. His application for parole was denied.
