138 - Compositional Generalization in Neural Networks, with Najoung Kim
NLP Highlights
The Difference Between CFQ and Cog's (Compositional-Free-Based Questions)
The linguistic expressions that we use are definitely more complex and the generalization scenarios are a little bit more diverse. So this Cog's project actually did start off as trying to make scan like generalization tests that are richer. And I think we try to make explicit connections to human language research as much as possible for each generalization case we include in the data set. Compared to CFQ, compositional-free-based questions, I would say one obvious, but kind of less interesting differences that the meaner representation and the task domain is different.
