Is There a Recession?

There will be a recession. How severe? I don't think it'll be a run of the mill sort of mild recession. But I do see some really attractive trades to benefit from a further slowing in the economic activity. Look into European banks. They're a sector which hasn't been loved by investors for many years now, for at least the past decade. With higher interest rates, it looks like there's going to be much higher earnings for the sector. And they may well outperform at a time when other equity markets are doing quite poorly.
