Elmore Leonard's 10 Rules for Good Writing

Out of Sight is probably about as good as Elmore Leonard adaptations get. I would like to see more than Karen Siscoe pop back up in things. The only one that I had that you don't is Carolyn's terrible ex-husband Jamal, with the $106,000 lean from the IRS. But yeah. Got a lot of backstabbers. And quite famously Elmore Leonard printed 10 rules for good writing.
