"I get up really late and go to bed really late. For example, last week I was sort of rolling out a bed at one, necking some coffee and then just straight into music until 11, 12, 1," he says. "It felt conducive to making this kind of music for this album where it's like the focus is on sociality ... It sounds good when I say it."
