The Myth of the Fire
The God of Fire, Agni is very special for the Vedic Hindus. Huta Vaha means that the one who carries your sacrificial offerings to the gods. This led the Charvakas, the materialists of ancient India,. They were always trying to poke, and poke holes in the religion of the day. Then fire is also said to be the mouth of God, it's associated with the power of speech.
