The Importance of Russ in the NBA

There's a difference between Russ being a messy player with a star and coach ecosystem that is not set up to support him versus what we saw this past winter and spring after he joined the Clippers. I mean, I think Russ is a good option to have. And that is why T. Lou is the guy that trusts. If T. Lou wasn't coaching, I'd be like, that should be sale. But T. Lou's coaching. He didn't want Russ just to stick it to the front office or anything like that. It's like T. Lou won a championship with Crazy Kairi Irving as his point guard. That's what T. Lou had to deal with.
