The Evolution of Evaluators

We create our tools now after they create us. How does the aesthetics change? What changes about what we think we value? I don't have the answer but I'm fascinated to know. There'd be an evolutionary impact over time because certain brain processes won't be as required so they won't be developed in the same way and something else will be enhanced instead.
