The Strike on Netflix

The strikes are shutting down production on some of these things. They're losing 200 to 300k a day for that and it's not insured either. I think the streamers in particular have enough content in their hoppers to be able to just keep on streaming what they've got. On linear TV you really do need to produce new stuff all the time. You can't have a self-respecting TV channel that is just showing only reruns. Netflix has a million shows that can newly resurface to the top of the homepage and will be unfamiliar to almost all of its viewers but doesn't need new content in the same way.
