The Cuban Missile Crisis

The Cuban Missile Crisis had an impact on you when you were growing up. I remember very vividly there was a group of us who used to play a ball game, a sort of five after school. And one of my friends came up to me and shook my hand. He said, I'm not sure we're going to see each other again. That's when it really sunk in for me. You know, so I wonder if the kids just like me are over there thinking, oh my God, maybe will not meet again tomorrow.
