Most protesters are seen this ment almost exclusively through the lens of identity politics, and racial identity politics in particular. They recognize that we have a president who is an incompetent, devisive conman and a crackpot at a time when we actually need wise leadership. And they're worried about creeping authoritarianism, which we really should be worried about now....
