'We Never Had Any Troubles'

A strike by disney animators who are upset about the work environment, upset about the cuts and all these lay offs. They form a picket line which goes on for five weeks. The company had 12 hundred employees before the labor dispute, and out with only 694. And this whole labor dispute really wounds walt. It it enrages him, makes him mad. Many of his employees say that this strike changed him. He became more churlish, more angry, distant, less cheery and optimistic.
