The Importance of Consulting Philosophers

I think it's hard to answer that question as though it weren't already a philosophical question, right? And so it presupposes the value of the activity that it also calls into question. There's almost a sense of it's not self undermining, but it pretends to be more open than it is. It's like, oh, does philosophy make the world a better place or not? I'm open to either answer, but I'm going to engage in the activity as though it were of some value,. But yeah, I think it definitely does. That's why I do it.
