The Silent Deep
Every day there's a submarine on what's known as continuous Nazi deterrence patrol, it has been since 1969. Each patrol has one aim, which is to provide the UK's strategic nuclear deterrent. The submarines tend not to go to the surface very often and they never transmit on any radio circuits. They're designed to be holes in the water, and pretty much undetectable by traditional sensors.
