Is Private Equity a Problem?

Josh Lerner: 20 years ago, the private equity industry was in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Today, we're in the several trillions of private equity dollars; that's a big change. He says for every dollar of private equity there is around $8 public equity today. Lerner: Is this growth necessarily a problem? We'll have to wait and see.
