The Persecution of Fandom

I think as a first experience, what you were saying about some of the most dedicated communities online kind of being based in a sense of persecution reminds me of a lot of fandom and how strong that feels for a lot of people. There still remains that feeling of being the loser in the room, even as like superheroes are the thing that we're all forced to watch.
