A new CBS News poll found that 65 percent of Americans say that the U.S. economy is getting worse compared to only 15 percent who believe it's getting better. Nearly half of respondents, 48 percent, said that Democratic policies had harmed the economy and just under one-third, 29 percent said they'd helped. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ranks number one in terms of highest net approval rating among all major American politicians. The cap's Harris poll comes as DeSantis announced that Florida's GOP has a quarter million more registered Republican voters than Democratic voters.
