How Do I Ask if Someone's Having Vaginal Heaviness?
How do you ask if someone's having vaginal heaviness or incontinence? Because those things mean like lots of different things to patients. This is one of the biggest stumbling bugs for clinicians because it's nearly that how do I even articulate this and it can become a bigger deal than it actually is. And what I would say is keep it simple. Once you start asking it, it actually becomes easier. It's not an awkward situation anymore. Usually women are delighted that someone's asking them about something that's been bothering them so much. If anyone finds it really difficult, you can simply give women a screening questionnaire where the questionnaire asks the questions.
