SQL Mesh: The Wrong Choice for Data Transformations
SQL mesh is not the right choice if you have like a real time pipeline. If you want something really low latency, right, it's not the right tool. You should use a flink or a file trend for that. We have seen some users using Python models for ingest, but it's really done in a micro batch fashion.

Data transformation is a key activity for all of the organizational roles that interact with data. Because of its importance and outsized impact on what is possible for downstream data consumers it is critical that everyone is able to collaborate seamlessly.
