The Roman Catholic View of the Lord's Supper
In the sacrament of the Eucharist, you've got bread and wine are the figures. In Roman Catholic view, Christ is present in the sacrament corporally. And it's corporally present by transubstantiation. That at that moment, by divine power, the bread and wine transform completely into the body and blood of Christ. It will be reiterated in response to reformers at the Council of Trent in the 16th century.
