It's conspicuous timing because he did soften his rhetoric he did come off at a lot if he knew and no one else knew then that's gonna make them mad too right. If there's one player who would know it would be Rory mackerel he's been the front man he's been the spokesman but i talked to a source pretty close to the pga tour who was like if the players knew about this it would have leaked immediately so in that sense i feel like maybe he didn't know
