The Importance of Accepting Your Differences in Relationships
When we continue to define ourselves in negative ways, we're unable to participate as equal in relationships. We need to develop this sense of acceptance first so that we can begin to show our strengths. When you do that, then you stop withdrawing. It's not just about yourself concept. It has to happen first but valuing your differences gives you a greater sense of personal power and equality in relationships.
