The Prime Minister's Decision on Nadeem Sahar
Laurie Magnus' investigation into Nadeem Sahar took a week, and the Prime Minister dealt with it in the day. Sir Alex has experience of investigating claims of bullying in government departments. In that case he was supported by a very good woman from the Treasury solicitor who did most of the interviews. His view was that what was found did amount to bullying, and that was a breach in ministerial code. But one of the things that is perhaps different from this investigation is that she hadn't been warned or told anything about her behaviour.
