Recovery Runs - What Pace Should I Run on Recovery Run?
The way I like to start my recovery runs is at a glacially slow effort that's dictated by how my body feels on that day. Some days that might be three or four minutes slower than marathon pace. Sometimes when I'm feeling particularly tight, maybe after a couple of miles and it's still feeling sluggish,. I might even stop and do some basic drills and mobility in the context of my recovery run.
