Liz: I think we need to stop idolizing countries that don't share our values in this way. Andi: i dislike how a bunch of americans are willing to hold these countries up as great examples and great example of well functioning welfare states. Liza: America has managed to be pretty rich and developed despite not being homogeneous at all, and despite incorporating people from all different starting levels, wealth and classwise.
