How to Secure Your JWP Transactions
If you want to guarantee that you're building a system agnostic of the database, locks are very perfect for that. A lot of people use shared lock for this reason. If you don't care if your table changed in the middle of your transaction, especially if your transaction is small, don't place a lock. Don't use locks. Do you need it? If you move, absolutely, Kubernetes, you go to it. If you do not, then you're just complicating your life. Same exact story with J&M and UTI think. In which cases can a phantom read be a bad thing?
