The Holmer: How to Explain Your Love for Someone
The Holmer is a literary device that rabbis would use to understand God's love in simple things so that we can understand him in complex things. Jesus says, next time you're worried, I want you to think about a raven. You are an image bearing child of the most high spirit on earth. And if that thing doesn't bear my image, which is a diamond, then it doesn't exist. It was only man and woman alone who were considered very good relationship between them.
