The Importance of Faith in Politics
I think liberal democracy is a good place in which to test out world views or world visions. I've tried to challenge the notion that there are only three paradigms for how you will relate religion and politics in a democracy. The opposite extreme is that religion and politics are expected to be completely sealed off from one another, hermetically. Instead real life in a diverse society has to allow people to bring their faith. So I've been drawing on Neo Calvinist thinking and trying to contribute to this debate in Scotland.
